Dr Kashmira
S. Ubhi is the Principal Dentist at The Dental
and Implant Centre, having worked in general
dental practice since 1985. He is a registered
Specialist in Prosthodontics.
He was one of the first to be awarded a Master
of Science Degree in Implant Dentistry at
Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London
in 2000 for which he received a distinction.
With his continuous commitment to excellence,
Kashmira is involved in post graduate teaching,
lecturing and examining both nationally and
internationally. |
His role includes examining for the Membership to
the Faculty of General Practitioners (MFDGP), Membership
in General Dental Surgery (MGDS), and is an Assessor
for the Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental
Practitioners (FFGDP) at the Royal College of Surgeons
of England. |

Dr Mehroon
Anisa Khan qualified from University College,
London, in 1989, and joined the practice in
1990.
Senior dentist at the practice, she provides
a comprehensive range of dental treatments,
and is currently accepting patients under
private contract.
She has a specialist interest in Cosmetic
Dentistry and Tooth Whitening techniques.
For the nervous patient, Anisa is trained
to carry out dental procedures under Intravenous
Sedation. |

Dr Rashpal
K Saggi graduated from King's College London
in 1995, and joined the practice in 1998.
Her specialist interests are in restorative
dentistry, particularly anterior white fillings.
Dr Saggi provides treatment both privately
and under NHS Contract. |

Dr Juliana Henking is a graduate of the School of Dentistry, Queen's University of Belfast. She has worked in the Hospital Dental Services, as a Salaried Practitioner, a Clinical Demonstrator, a Commissioned Dental Officer in the Armed Forces, and as an Associate in General Dental Practice, before undertaking her postgraduate studies.
She gained a Diploma in Health and Social Services Management, followed by a Master of Medical Science in Restorative Dentistry (specialising in Periodontics).
In 1994 she was appointed Deputy Director of the then new Belfast School of Dental Hygiene. |
Now based in London, she spends her week working as a Specialist in Periodontics for the North-West London Community Dental Services (hosted by Hammersmith & Fulham PCT), and in private practice. She is also the Retaining, Retraining & Returning Adviser for Dentists in the London Postgraduate Dental Deanery.
Until December 2003, she used to work, in addition to the above jobs, as a part-time Clinical Demonstrator in Periodontology & Preventive Dentistry at GKT Dental Institute, Guy's Campus.
Juliana recently completed her MA in Medical Law and Ethics. She is a member of the British Dental Association, British Society of Periodontology and the Dental Law and Ethics Forum.

Karen Alderton
qualified in 1984 from The Royal Dental Hospital
and has been with the Practice since 1993.
She is extremely experienced and has clinical
and dental health promotional responsibilities.
She works closely with the Dental Team, carrying
out individual programmes of prevention of
periodontal disease (gum disease) and caries
(tooth decay).
Treatments offered include Scaling and Polishing
teeth, fissure sealants restorations and instructing
in the maintenance of good oral hygiene around
restorations such as bridges and implants. |
